My biography

The 'gAalerie à ciel ouvert' was created in April 2021 by a collective of neighbours and consists of using the many blind windows in the neighborhood surrounding Rue Van Aa to offer photography exhibitions. The idea came about after seeing the film "Visages villages" by Agnès Varda and Jr. in which the two friends take photographs and stick them in the places they discover.

About my work

Look up and discover the 'Lighthouse' by Arnaud Ghys exhibition in the blind windows on rue Van Aa and around. After months of confinement because of this damn you know what, the inhabitants of the neighborhood of the gallery gladly lent themselves to the game. Springing from the darkness by the grace of an oil lamp, these faces of all ages and of all colors are given to you to see by Arnaud Ghys who has found a new opportunity to exercise his attraction for the portrait and to deploy his inclination for strong contrasts.
